Puppy Pre-School

Set your your puppy up for success and to become a future well adapted canine citizen!

Participating in group classes with our trainers, together with your puppy, is an awesome way to connect and bond with your new puppy. You'll learn how to communicate and understand one another while learning together. We'll teach you how to meet your puppy's ever changing developmental needs, as well as how to manage those challenging puppy habits! Areas covered in classes are:

Supporting over all early puppy development
Problem solving of puppy behaviours, housetraining, puppy biting, jumping, and more
Controlled off-leash play and education around supporting healthy play mates / styles
Learn dog body language, how to recognize stress / fear
Positive socialization to people (greetings), dogs, sounds
Body handling to prepare for grooming, vet examination and daily care
'Mine' Resource guarding prevention
Introduction to foundation skills like settle, sit, down, stand
Intro to loose leash walking and recall foundation skills
Confidence building through exploring novel objects, surfaces, obstacles and props
